Mrs. May McCalmont, wife of William McCalmont, died at the family residence near Brown's Canon on Monday, August 20, of dropsy, Deceased had been a sufferer for a long time and the end was not unexpected. Funeral services were held at the home on Tuesday and the remains interred in Fairview cemetery. Rev. Burck of the Episcopal church conducted the services. Deceased leaves a husband and three children.
