MRS. J.F. BLAKEMORE
Mrs. J.F. (Glenn Goolsby) Blakemore was born in Waldron on May 19, 1898 to Mr. & Mrs. Abel Embry Goolsby. She attended public school in Scott County. She now resides in Fort Smith with her husband, Dr. James F. Blakemore, a retired dentist. Their son, Dr. James Frank Blakemore also lives in Fort Smith. Mrs. Blakemore states that the Bank of Waldron brings back many fond memories, as she has been with the bank since it's organization - back in the early days, the bank let the library use the large backroom, without charge, and her mother gave two afternoons a week as Librarian. Mrs. Blakemore states she will never outgrow her love for Waldron.
