Miss Hazel Wrights, daughter of Albert and Martha Jane Wrights, was born in Cass county, December 23, 1893.

She finished her high school work at Onward in 1911, and was a teacher in Miami county. She united with the Christian church at Onward March 8, 1909, and continued a faithful member until the time of her death.

She was united in marriage with William J. Mills December 15, 1915, having been married one year and four months. On April 25, 1917, there came to bless their home a daughter, Evelyn Jeannette.

Hazel departed this life May 1, 1917. During her brief illness she bore her suffering with remarkable patience, trusting in her Savior till the last with hopes of meeting her loved ones in heaven.

She leaves to mourn her departure a kind and loving husband, infant baby, father and mother, five sisters and one brother. The sisters are Doris and Ada Wrights, Mrs. Jacob Wissinger, Mrs. O. A. Noel and Mrs. Jesse Cripe, and the brother, Mr. George Wrights, all of whom, with a host of friends, will miss her loving presence.

The funeral services will be held at Onward this (Thursday) afternoon at 2 o'clock.
