A message was received by Mrs. Scott McMillan, residing on College Hill, announcing the death of her aunt Mrs. Flora Lemmon Broughton, who was instantly killed by a B. & O. passengeer train yesterday afternoon at her home in Avilla, Ind. She stepped from behind a westbound freight train directly in front of an eastbound passenger train. Her body was hurled 100 feet and it was badly mangled. Deceased ws 55 years of age and the wife of Everett Broughton. She is survived by the husband, three daughters and two sons. Mrs. McMilland left today for Avilla to attend the funeral
