Mrs. Sarah Mortimore died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. David Baker, north of Hamburg on Monday, March 21, at the age of 79 years. Mrs. Mortimore, whose maiden name was Sarah Gardner, was the widow of the late A.T. Mortimore and has been a resident of Fremont County for over 40 years. She was born near Toronto, Canada, and moved to Ohio with her parents. At the age of 19 years she was united in marriage to Mr. Mortimore to which union eleven children are left to mourn her death. In addition there are 72 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. Since the death of her husband the deceased has made her home most of the time with David Baker.
