Ackerman Della Nora, 95, of Kendallville, died Friday in Kendallville Manor Healthcare Center. She was born Octoer 29, 1903 in Enterprise, Ill. to Emanuel and Lucy (Frehse) Feller. On June 14, 1923 in Kendallville she married William Ackerman who died October 26, 1972. A homemaker, she was a stock clerk at Meyers Drug Store. She was a member of First Church of God in Kendallville and had been a member of Wayne Twp Extension Homemakers' Club for more than 60 years. Surviving are 2 daughters-in-law, Eleanor Ackerman of Fort Wayne and Donna Thiel of Kendallville; a brother, Emory Feller of Kendallville; 7 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 3 sons, Stanley David, Harold and Dr. Larry Ackerman, a sister, Lola Miller, 3 brothers, Clarence, Chester and Cecil Feller; and 3 sisters, Iola Miller, Linda Merkling and Lavern Frankenberg; and a grandson, Rex Ackerman. Funeral Tuesday in Hite Funeral Home, Kendallville. Burial, Lake View Cemetery. + 4-9-1999
