Mrs. Oscar Akins
GLENNVILLE - Mrs. Artences (Bee) Akins, 72, of Glennville died Monday at Talmadge Memorial Hospital, Augusta after a long illness.
She was a native of Tattnall County and a member of Greater Zachariah Baptist Church. She was chairman of the Reidsville District Union Meeting and was a member of the WBMS Society of Glennville.
Surviving are her husband, Oscar Akins of Glennville; a daughter, Mrs. Almeda Sanders of Glennville; two brothers, David McClain and Jessie McClain, both of Claxton; a sister, Mrs. Sarah Badger of Claxton, a granddaughter and a great-granddaughter.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at Greater Zachariah Baptist Church in Glennville with burial in the church cemetery.
King's Funeral Home of Glennville is in charge.
