STATESBORO, GA, Aug. 22--
Mrs. Molly Akins, 67, died early this morning at the home of her daughter in Stateboro after a long illness.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Roy Deal, Statesboro; two grandchildren, Mrs. Bernard Banks and Austin Deal, both of Statesboro; one great-granddaughter; and one aunt.
Funeral services will be held 4 p.m. Thursday at Upper Mill Creek Church with Elder Harris Cribbs officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Homer Heath, Lawrence Akins, Ben Skinner, Floyd Beasley, Valder Heath and Jesse Marsh.
Honorary pallbearers will be J.T. Roberts, Julian Woods, Bud Byrd, Sam Smith, Walter Woodrom, Earnest Fordham, Clayton Donaldson, Hudson Allen, Clyde Brannen, Andrew Hollingworth, and T.Y. Akins.
Barnes Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
