Mrs. Alice L. Doss, 87, of 2301 McCoy Ave., Anniston, died Saturday at a local hospital after a short illness.

Services will be today at 3 p.m. at Gray Brown-Service Chapel with the Rev. Bert Tapley and the Rev. Dewey Corder officiating. Burial will be in Edgemont Cemetery.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. T. G. Tuck of Huntsville; two sons, Harold Doss Sr. and Ed Doss, both of Anniston; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Raul Pena, James Norton, Charles Borden, Charles Fuller, Wallace Horn and Ricky Bonds.

Mrs. Doss was a native and lifelong resident of Calhoun County and a member of First Baptist Church of Anniston.

The body will remain at the funeral home through services.
