Charles L. Bybee was born in Fresno, Ca. on September 28, 1923, and passed away on Sunday, November 18, 2007, in Fresno. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and an outstanding community member. He was a U.S. Army Air Force veteran of WWII and after returning home, he worked for Standard Oil Company and then farmed grapes until he retired in 1983. Charles was a member of the Biola American Legion Post 518 and Past Master of the Kerman Masonic Lodge No. 420. He also served on the Fresno County Historical Society. He enjoyed many years of traveling, golfing and fishing with his late wife. Charles is survived by his brother, Jim Bybee; three sons and daughtersin-law, Richard Bybee and Donna Knapp of Reno, Nv., Robert and Linda of Coleville, Wa. and Donald and Linda of Rolinda, Ca.; and five grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Stephens & Bean Chapel on Monday, November 26, 2007, from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at the Kerman United Methodist Church, 3095 N. Madera Ave. in Kerman on Tuesday, November 27, 2007, at 10:00 a.m. Remembrances may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Assoc. STEPHENS & BEAN CHAPEL 202 N.
