Mrs. James Arner died at eleven o'clock Friday night, February 20, 1920, at her home in Clinton, following a paralytic stroke which she suffered more than a weak ago.
The deceased whose maiden name was Smith, was born in Pittsburg, November 10, 1853. Forty-three years sgo she was married to Mr. Arner, who survives her.
She was a faithful member of the Clinton Presbyterian church.
Besides her husband she leaves the following children: Ralph, Harland, Calvin, Charles, John Arner, Mrs. Martha Norris and Mrs. Maude Norris, all of Tarentum, and Mrs. Agnes Klingersmith at home.
Funeral services will be conducted at the late residence Monday afternoon at two o'clock. Rev. Walter Kennedy will conduct the services. Interment in the McVille cemetery.
