Services for Edward P Harrell, 64, Quitman, will be conducted at 11 A.M. Tuesday, March 15, 1994, at First Baptist Church, where he was a member. The Rev. Gordon
Pittman will officiate, with interment at Oak Hill Cemetery. Mr. Harrell died Sunday, March 13, 1994, at South Georgia Medical Center after a lengthy illness.
A lifelong resident of Brooks County, he was a son of Ernest Edward Harrel, Sr., and Lucille Mallory Harrell. He was employed as a farmer. He was married to Betty Harrell, who survives. Other survivors include daughters, Carolyn Henderson, Fernandina Beach, FL., Elinor Nottingham and Martha Fennell, Macon; his [step]mother, Ione Harrell, Quitman; eight grandchildren and sister, Joan Johnson, Quitman.
