BYRDSTOWN, Tenn. -- Margaret E. (Wright) Bartow, 85, 111 Abby Lane, died Sunday in Livingston Regional Hospital, Livingston.
She was born in Marion to the late Virgil and Georgia E. (Waggoner) Botkin. She married John H. Bartow. He died Dec. 8, 1995. She formerly worked in the housekeeping department of Marion VA Medical Center and Foster Forbes, formerly of Marion.
Surviving are a son, Larry L. Wright, Gas City; daughters, Linda (Ward) Johnson, Marion, and Dixie (Richard) Schoolman, Byrdstown; stepdaughters, Colette (Melvin) Carter, Washington state, Jeanette (Tom) Smiley, California, Terri (Robert) Bisher, Florida, and Marguerite (John) Myers, Marion; numerous grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She also was preceded in death by two brothers, Warren Botkin and Virgil Botkin Jr.
Graveside services are at 1 p.m. Friday in Grant Memorial Park cemetery, Marion, with the Rev. Tom Mansbarger officiating.
