A graveside service for Mrs. Malvina Ragsdale Allen, 102, Tucson, Arizona, will be at 10 a.m. today at the Athens City Cemetery, with the Rev. J. P. West officiating, McConnell directing.
Mrs. Allen was the oldest living alumnus of the Athens College, graduating in the class of 1890.
Mrs. Allen, a native of Limestone County, was born July 20, 1873 and married Ben Lee Allen in 1901. She had two children, a son, Dr. Ben Lee Allen, who died in 1945 and a daughter, Mrs. Malvina Allen Moore, who lives in Tucson. Mrs. Allen is a second cousin of P. W. Hendricks of Athens.
