Mrs. Thomas Allison died Thursday, October 16, 1913, at the home of her son, A. H. Allison, in Mt. Etna, aged 81 years, 10 months, and 24 days. The funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the M. E. church in Mt. Etna, conducted by Rev. A. Y. Cupp, and the body was laid to rest in the Dunkard cemetery in Mt. Etna. Elizabeth Mary WIlkin was born in Washington County, Pennsylvania, December 21, 1831. She was married to Thomas Allison November 3, 1848, and to this union ten children were born. Mrs. Allison, familiarly known as "Grandma," is survived by four children, James, Andrew, William, and Abraham Allison. Some time ago Mrs. Allison fell and sustained injuries from which she never recovered. Beside the children she leaves her husband and a number of other relatives and friends who mourn her departure from this life.
