The Wayland, Mich., native worked at Eaton Corp. for 37 years, and was the widower of Fern B., who died in 1973, and Ruby L., who died in 1991. Surviving are a daughter, Patricia Renfor of Chisholm, Minn.; a son, R V of Churubusco; stepdaughters, Harriet Grannon and Norma J. Davenport, both of Kalamazoo, Mich.; a stepson, John Perkins of Scott; 14 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
Services are 11 a.m. (Michigan time) Friday in Langeland Climax Chapel, Climax, Mich., where calling is 7 to 9 p.m. today. Burial will be in Gilson Cemetery. Memorials are to the American Cancer Society.
