Eytcheson
Wilber (Boob) Eytcheson, 64, of Churubusco, died Tuesday at the Fort Wayne Veterans Hospital. He had been ill for three years.
Born November 17, 1908, in Elkhart county, he was the son of William and Diana Wade Eytcheson.
In 1937 he married Evelyn DeWitt, and the couple spent there entire married life in the Churubusco community. Mr. Eytcheson was retired from General Electric in Fort Wayne and was also a retired farmer.
He was a member of the Eel River Baptist Church, the Churubusco Post of the American Legion, and the VFW in Fort Wayne.
Surviving besides the wife, Evelyn, are two daughters, Mrs. Marilyn Frazier and Mrs. Doris Hyser, Churubusco, two foster brothers, Jessie Roberson and john Roberson, Churubusco, one sister, Mrs. Helen Garman, Lakeland Florida, six grand children.
Friends may call after 2 p.m. Thursday at the Krider Funeral Home in Churubusco, where funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, the Rev. James Anderson officiating.
Burial will be in Eel River cemetery.
