The former Lorraine Stauber was born on July 15, 1911 in Park Falls, WI, the daughter of the late Joseph Stauber and Jennie (LeValley) Stauber, Sr.
Lorraine Stauber married Jack Weber on March 9, 1943; he preceded her in death on September 15, 1950
Lorraine Weber married Carl "Cliff" Anderson on May 11, 1954; he preceded her in death on October 4, 1994.
Lorraine lived in Ladysmith, WI. for a large part of her adult life, where she and Cliff built their home.
Lorraine Anderson worked as a secretary for Great Lakes Millwork until her retirement. Her favorite pass times included reading, playing cards and knitting. She knitted over 50 afghans, giving most of them away.
She also loved to watch the birds come and go from their feeders in their yard.
Lorraine and Cliff were members of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Ladysmith.
After retiring, she worked 2 days a week as a volunteer at the Ladysmith nursing home. She sold her home and moved to Kingsford in 1996. She lived in the Evergreen Assisted Living and then Oak Crest Assisted Living in Norway. In December of 2003, she moved to Freeman Nursing and Rehabilitation Community in Kingsford.
Lorraine Anderson was survived by her sister Eleanor Reinecke of Minocqua, WI; nieces Margaret "Peg" Stauber of Norway; Jean Stauber of Norway, Mary Jo Stauber and Janet (George) Godlewski of Northumberland, PA; nephews Tom Reinecke of Arlington, VA, Ken Reinecke of Mississippi and Larry (Barbara) Reinecke of Lac Du Flambu, WI; her husband Jack's son Jerry Weber of Bakersfield, CA and his children Nancy, Patricia, Kay, John, Ann and Michael and their children.
She was preceded in death by her brother Bud Stauber.
Memorial Mass at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Niagara, WI with Fr. Michael Betley presiding.
