Domenico N. Bibbo, 83, of West Chester, died April 6, 2007, at his home. He was the husband of Julianna A. Manz Bibbo and the late Gloria Ness Bibbo. Born in Brockton, Mass., he was the son of the late Nicholas J. Bibbo and Carmella De Pasquale Bibbo. He was a retired Navy Commander, CEC, with the Seabees and served in WWII, Korean Conflict and Vietnam. He was an engineer and retired as president if BCM Engineers. A graduate of Penn State University, he received his batchelor's degree in civil engineering. He later went to the University of Michigan and received a master degree of sanitary engineering. He was on the Westtown Twp Planning Commission and part of their route 202 steering committee. His memberships included the Italian Social Club, American Legion and PSU Alumni Assoc. In addition to his wife, he is survived by seven children: Nancy Lucheck of Philadelphia, Nicholas Bibbo of Coarsegold, Calif., Gregory Bibbo of Bow, NH, Michael Moylan of Brookhaven, Deborah Gerace of Springfield, Eileen Walker of West Chester and Stephen Moylan of Ridley Park; one brother, John Bibbo; one sister, Frances Moses, both of Brockton, Mass.; 19 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by one son, the late Michael Bibbo; his twin brother, the late Michael Bibbo; and one sister, the late Gloria Albanese. Relatives and friends are invited to his funeral liturgy, 10 a.m. Thursday, April 12, at the DellaVecchia, Reilly, Smith & Boyd Funeral Home Inc 410 N. Church St., West Chester. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m., Wednesday, April 11, and 9 to 10 a.m., Thursday, at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Birmingham-Lafayette Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Maximillian Kolbe Church, 15 E. Pleasant Grove Rd., West Chester, PA 19380.
