He was survived by one brother, Edward A. Allen and his wife, Barb, of Warren, Pa.; one sister, Mary T. Eggleston
of Spokane, Washington; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, John J. Allen, Jr., who was killed in action in Italy, and Joseph F. Allen, who was wounded in Korea and never recovered.
