McKnight, Brandon L. "Pickle" A student and resident of Baton Rouge, he died Friday, April 29, 2005, at 1:30 p.m. at Opelousas General Hospital, Opelousas, as the result of an automobile accident. He was 19. Visiting at Hall's Mortuary, Port Allen, on Friday, May 6, from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. with family visitation from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Religious service at Israelite Baptist Church, 6644 S. River Road, Brusly, at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 7, conducted by Elder G.C. Pierce. Interment in church cemetery. He is survived by his parents, Sherman Dickerson Sr. and Jacqueline McKnight Dickerson; sister, Tameka Dickerson; maternal grandmother, Leona McKnight; brothers, Boris McKnight, Sherman Dickerson Jr., Stanton Dickerson, Myron Dickerson, LaJuan Hart and Blake Wheeler; special aunts, Karen Randall and Tanya Johnson; special nephew, Marquise McKnight; and other aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Jonas and Ruby T. Dickerson; uncle, John "Darren" McKnight; two aunts, Willie Mae "Teadie" James, and Velma "Sue" Dickerson; and godmother, Barbera Wilson. He loved football and was a student at Baton Rouge Community College.
