Betty Jo Crenshaw, 80, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Saturday morning, November 29, 2003, at Dorminy Medical Center.

Funeral services will be 1:30 P.M. Monday, December 1, 2003, at Crossview Baptist Church with Rev. Greg Carroll, Rev. James Bryan and James Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Union Cemetery in Pitts, Georgia. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 9 P.M. Sunday evening.

Mrs. Crenshaw was born March 1, 1923 in Wilcox County, Georgia, to the late Hubert Jett and Sarah Ann Nipper Jett. She was preceded in death by her husband John D. Crenshaw. Mrs. Crenshaw was a retired seamstress for Madison Shirt Company in Rochelle, Georgia. She was a member of Crossview Baptist Church in Fitzgerald, where she was a member of the Esther Sunday School Class and the Golden Believers. Mrs. Crenshaw was a former resident of Pitts, Georgia, and Pitts Baptist Church. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and an avid gardener.

Mrs. Crenshaw is survived by two sons: Freddie Crenshaw, Alpharetta, GA and Randy Crenshaw, Fitzgerald, GA; one Daughter: Linda Arant, Fitzgerald, GA; 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
