Daughter of Tiodulo Aguilera and Cruz Lemas

Mrs. Simona Aguilera Rodriguez, 78, died Wednesday, February 15, at North Big Horn Hospital after an extended illness. She was born January 5, 1900 in Aguas, Calientes, Mexico, the daughter of Tiodulo and Cruz Lemas Aguilera. She has been a resident of Lovell since 1924. She married Secundino Rodriguez November 29, 1917 in Juarez, Chihuaha, Mexico. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

She is survived by her husband, Secundino of Lovell; six sons, Jesse Rodriguez, Charles Florez, Frank Florez, and Ernest Florez all of Lovell, Don Ramirez of Chicago, Illinois, and Ennis Razo of Las Vegas, Nevada; one daughter, Mrs. Juanita Martinez of Lovell; one brother, Jose Aguilera of Juarez, Mexico; 12 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.

Services will be Monday, February 20, at 2:00 p.m. in the Lovell LDS Chapel with Bishop Ed Lowe conducting. Burial will be in the Lovell Cemetery. Haskell Funeral Home of Lovell is in charge of arrangements.
