Eva Abbott, age 83, of
Monticello, Ky passed away
Friday, June 28, 2002 at the
Wayne County Hospital.
She was born in Wayne
County, Ky on August 9, 1918,
the daughter of the late Edmund
Chriswell and Bessie Guffey
Chriswell.
She married Leo Abbott,
who preceded her in death.
She is survived by three
children-Hoyt Abbott of
Monticello, Ky, Bill Abbott of
Kingman, Ariz, Max Abbott of
Indianapolis, Ind; one sister
Vena Taylor; two half brothers
Buford Abbott and Paul Abbott;
two half sisters-Betty Parmley
and Grace Hunter; 10 grandchildren;
17 great-grandchildren;
and two great-great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death are
two children.
She was a member of Green
Hill Baptist Church.
Funeral services were held
Friday, July 5, 2002 at 10 a.m.
in the funeral home chapel with
Bro Dewey Burks officiating.
Burial was in the Elk Spring
Cemetery.
