1960-2009
Carole A. Koerner passed away June 23, 2009 in her home. Carole was born July 15, 1960 to Joseph and Beverly Koerner. She lived in the San Fernando Valley until she moved to Santa Maria in 1986. Upon arriving in Santa Maria, she became a volunteer at Marian Medical Center, which she continued through most of her pregnancy. In February of 1989 she gave birth to her only daughter, Stephanie.
Carole loved to help people in any way she could, always lending a hand when needed. Carole was close to many people in her life. She always enjoyed being around her friends and family, most especially her daughter. Carole's spirit was a very lively one, which will never be forgotten by any who knew her.
Carole is survived by her parents, Joseph and Beverly Koerner, her brother, Craig Koerner and her daughter, Stephanie Turner.
Funeral Services and Celebration of her life will be held at St Louis de Montfort Church on Tuesday, June 30, 2009 at 10:00am with Rev. Paul Baseford officiating. Private Interment will follow in the Santa Maria Cemetery.
