CHAPIN In the words of a sweet and kind; ever the perfect little Southern Gentleman, Parker (age 5) said, I want to get in a spaceship and visit Jesus! On June 29, 2009, his desire was heard in Heaven.
Parker was born in Columbia, SC, son of Craig and Crystal Hewitt. He was part of the Children's Preschool Program at Chapin Baptist Church. He enjoyed playing soccer, football, basketball and disc golf; fishing, swimming and tubing at the lake; dancing and singing with his family; catching bugs in the backyard; He was a great BIG brother who looked after and cared for his little sister, Haley. Quote: The thing I am most thankful for is Haley.
The ones who met Parker at the gates of Heaven were his maternal great-granddaddy, David E. Fore Sr. (Pop); his maternal great-grandma, Cleo Fore and his paternal great-granddaddy, Milton E. Hornsby Jr.
Many will truly miss Parker... mostly his dad and mom: Craig and Crystal Hewitt; aunts and uncles, Kim Hewitt, Tiffany Fore, Lacey Fore, Matthew (Courtney) Fore; cousin, Anna Fore; maternal grandparents, Phillip and Millie Fore; paternal grandparents: Trish (Laurin) Stevens and Rick (Grace) Hewitt; maternal great-grandparents, Audell and Rosemary Craft; paternal great-grandparents, Frances Hewitt, Charles Hewitt and Virginia Hornsby and everyone who met him!
Funeral services will be held at Chapin Baptist Church on Friday, July 10, 2009 at 2:00 pm. Visitation to follow; everyone is welcome. Officiating the service will be Ken Kelly, Pastor of Chapin Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made towards the REACH fund at Chapin Baptist. Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Chapin Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
