Marian P. Wheeler, 90, a native of Forestport, and life resident of Division St., passed away on Friday, April 3, 2015, at Sunset Nursing & Rehabiltiation Center, Boonville. She was born on August 6, 1924, a daugher of Clarence and Alice P. Horton Wheeler, and attended Forestport High School. She was first employed at Dunlop Tire Co. Utica; later for twenty eight years, Marian was employed as a machine operator at Rome Specialty Co. Forestport, retiring in the early 1980s. Marian was a member of St. Patricks Church, Forestport. She is survived by nieces and a nephew; and great nephews; and great-great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Richard Kenneth Wheeler, in 1945, while serving in the Army in Germany, during WWII, and by two sisters.
