She was born to Lemuel B. and Stella Bryant on December 8, 1919 at Trader's Hill, and was a lifelong resident of Charlton County, Georgia. She was a member of Prospect United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband Iver Novada Allen, daughters: Patsy Kennerly and Cherry Blair and one granddaughter: Dixie Holden.
She is survived by Two daughters: Phyllis (Frank) Holden and Carol Allen; One son: Buzz (Connie) Allen; 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, several other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Grandsons. The family will receive friends Wednesday, June 4 at 3:00 PM at Shepard Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 4:00 PM,with Rev. Alice Chancey officiating.
Burial will follow in Trader's Hill Cemetery.
