Funeral services for Auguste Mathilde Sophy Pfleger, age 76, who died at her home in Cedarburg on August 19, were held on Saturday. She had been seriously ill for more than six months.

Mrs. Pfleger, nee Damerow, was born on January 8, 1860 near Kirchhayn in the Town of Jackson to Carl Friedrich Wilhelm Damerow and Caroline Kube. She was married to Mr. Robert Pfleger on June 29th, 1879. Her husband and one son, Julius Carl W. Pfleger preceded her in death. Surviving are: three daughters, Miss Adeline Pfleger of Cedarburg, Mrs. Emma Clasen of Raleys, Ont. Canada, and Mrs. Jeanette Dunst of Thiensville; two brothers and three sisters.

She was a woman true to the best ideals of womanhood, a kind and loving mother, a true Christian, and her memory will always be cherished and honored.

Burial services were held at the Zeitler Funeral Home and First Immanuel Lutheran Church; Rev. William J. Jaeger officiated. Interment was in Zur Ruhe cemetery.
