Janice was born April 23, 1937 in Providence Rhode Island. She had lived in Joplin since 1989 after living in many places across America with her husband Donald. Janice worked as a homemaker as well as a hairdresser for many years. She enjoyed playing bingo and was a huge fan of Elvis Presley.
Janice is survived by her husband Donald Baker, A daughter Robin Schmoranz and husband Rodney of Lamar, MO. Two sons; Jeffrey Wayne Baker and wife Rose of Joplin, Missouri and Jared Wayne Baker of Cleveland, GA. Four grandchildren; Stacia Marie Baker, Jeffrey Wayne Baker II, Travis Allen Schmoranz and Jeremy Wayne Schmoranz and a very close niece Alta Decker and family as well as a host of other family and friends.
Memorial services for Mrs. Janice M. Baker will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 22, 2009 in the Blendville Christian Church in Joplin, Missouri with Pastor Virgil Eubanks officiating.
