Florence L. Roach, 80, of 927 Jay St., died Saturday morning at her home.
Mrs. Roach worked at J.J. Newberry Co. for a while and then was a therapy aide at St. Lawrence Psychiatric Center until her retirement in 1983.
Born March 12, 1921, in Massena, daughter of Daniel and Mary Delia Rivers, she attended schools in Massena.
She married John C. Roach on Aug. 31, 1940, at Notre Dame Church with Monsignor A.D. Charbonneau officiating. Mr. Roach died June 18, 1991.
Surviving are three sisters, two granddaughters and two great-grandchildren.
A son, Gary A., four sisters and two brothers died before her.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday in Foxwood Memorial Park with Monsignor Harry K. Snow, pastor of St. Mary's Cathedral, officiating.
