She was the daughter of the late Joseph Nell and Mamie Anderson Nell. She was also preceded in death by her husbands, Thomas Camp and John Burns.
Mrs. Burns was a member of the Church of Christ and served at the church camp for many years and became known as "Momma Camp." Mrs. Burns was a proud volunteer for the Martha Jefferson Hospital.
She is survived by her loving children Michael Camp and Deborah Camp; one sister, Edwerta Hughes; grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many friends.
