Mrs. Henry Deabenderfer, aged 80 years, a native of Montgomery township, died at Holdrege, Neb. of a complication of diseases. She was born near Hillsdale and was united in marriage to Henry Deabenderfer who was born and raised near Smithport, this county. The family has resided in the west for a number of years. Nephews and nieces of the deceased residing in the vicinity are: Bert Deabenderfer, White township; William D. Deabenderfer, Indiana; Abraham Deabenderfer of near Blairsville; Mrs. Ellen Powell of Arcadia; Mrs. S.J. Getty of town. Mr. and Mrs. Getty visited the Deabenderfer family in the west a year ago.
