Beatrice L. Ditlow, 85,of Rossville, entered into rest June 6, 2009, at Manor Care North. She was the loving wife of Conway G. Ditlow, Sr. The couple celebrated 67 years of marriage on February 14, 2009.

She was born February 10, 1924, in Washington Township, a daughter of the late Eli D. and Edna V. (Zinn) Leathery.

Beatrice was a homemaker who also worked for Dentsply in York, Record Club of America in Manchester, and the Caramel Factory in York. She enjoyed flowers, gardening, playing BINGO and taking trips to Atlantic City.

In addition to her husband, Beatrice is survived by a daughter, Joan M. Butler and her husband, Kenneth of Wellsville; a grandson, Duane G. Ditlow; two brothers, William C. Leathery and Carl E. Leathery, both of Dover; and two sisters, Velma P. Leathery of Dover and Bernice A. Heist of Wellsville. She was preceded in death by a son, Conway G. Ditlow, Jr.; two grandchildren, Christine E. Ditlow and Kevin Butler; two brothers, George E. Leathery and Glenn L. Leathery; and two sisters, Leona Schmuck and Esther M. Kern.

Burial will be in St. Paul's Red Run Cemetery, East Berlin. Officiating will be Beatrice's nephew, Dennis Heist.
