Rachel was the daughter of Narcisse LaTarte and Julie Adeline Turgeon. Her husband was Albert Francis St. Aubin. They had many children together. She was raised in the Catholic faith, and raised her children to be Catholic also. She had one brother. He was Rudolph Joseph LaTarte.
