A 1941 graduate of Parker City High School where he was active in athletics, Mr. Burch attended the University of Kentucky before enlisting in the Marine Corps. He served in the Pacific Theater in World War II.
He worked at Airhart Engineering Corp. for 27 years before retiring.
Surviving are his wife Joy Burch; a son, Kenneth Burch; two daughters, Mrs. Keith (Michelle) Bodtke and Mrs. Jerry (Denice) Blakely; a brother, Robert L. Burch of Springport; six grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, including Monica Botts of Muncie; and several cousins, including Mrs. Harry Baney of Muncie.
He was preceded in death by brothers Marshall and Tom Burch.
