BEAVER DAM-Walter C. Brown, 87, of Beaver Dam died Saturday, March 25, 1995, at Owensboro-Daviess County Hospital. He was born in Ohio County, the son of Quintis V. and Elizabeth Chinn Brown. He was a farmer and had lived all his life on the farm where he was born. He was a member of West Providence Baptist Church near Centertown.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Geraldine Tomblinson Brown; two sons, James W. Brown of Franklin, Tenn., and Robert A. Brown of Cookeville, Term.; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a sister, Artie Porter of Hartford.
Services are at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Duke-Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Centertown. Burial in Chapman Cemetery near McHenry. Visitation is from 4 to 9 p.m. today and after 9 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
