Funeral: 1 p.m. Friday in Lucas Sylvania Funeral Chapel, ministers Jim Hackney, Jack Roe and David Rogers officiating. Interment: Following a committal service, Peggy will be laid to rest in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: Peggy will lie in state 9 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Lucas Sylvania Funeral Home. Family visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m.
Peggy was born Feb. 3, 1930, in Paducah and was a graduate of Hillsboro High School. She moved to Fort Worth in 1955. She worked for Buddies Credit Union and later retired from Fort Worth Postal Credit Union.
Peggy was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Regina; and son-in-law, Richard Getter.
Survivors: Her husband of 60 years, Garland of Fort Worth; son, Robert "R.M." Bledsoe and his wife, Julie, of Newport, Ark.; daughters, Belinda Bledsoe and Karen Denney of Fort Worth; sister, Cora Lee Isbell of Edmond, Okla.; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
