Mrs. Nellie VanBuskirk, 61, wife of Darcy VanBuskirk, Wilmington, Calif., died unexpectedly Wednesday of a heart attack.

Mrs. VanBuskirk was born Oct. 25, 1905, in Chesterfield, Mich., and lived here and in St. Clair until four years ago when she and Mr. VanBuskirk moved to California.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Richard Barr, Gardenia, Calif., formerly of Port Huron; five grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Truman E. Rowley, Port Huron, and Mrs. Arnold F. Distelrath, St. Clair; a brother, Lovell H. Pemberton, Port Huron; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be conducted Tuesday morning in the Rose-Crann Funeral Home, Paramount, Calif.

Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery, Long Beach.

A Mass will be said for Mrs. VanBuskirk at 9 a.m. Friday in St. Stephen Catholic Church here.
