Graveside funeral services for Clif Canada, 40, of Brownwood, will be held at 4 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 16, in Eastlawn Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Art Switzer officiating and under the direction of Heartland Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 15, at the funeral home. Mr. Canada passed away on Saturday, Dec. 11, 2004, in Brownwood.

He was born on June 23, 1964, in Brownwood where he was raised and attended school. Clif was a lifetime resident of the area and had worked at the Brownwood Fire Department for the last nine years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and he loved to play country music. More than anything else, Clif loved living the "Cowboy Life." He was a Baptist.

Survivors include his mother, Margaret Stockman of Brownwood; his son, Trevor Canada of Brownwood; five step-brothers; three step-sisters; grandparents, John and Juanita Rudloff of De Leon; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; special friends, Shari Hubbard and Jack Caudill, both of Brownwood; and many close friends as well as a mountain of buddies. He is also survived by his father, Charles Canada Sr., of Mexico.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles Curtis Canada and Willie Dean Canada; his dad, Eldon Stockman; grandparents, Joyce and G.C. Edwards; grandma and papa, Leona and Charles Lobstein; and two uncles, Jimmy Rudloff and Lyn Rudloff.
