Mary Belle was born August 28, 1909, at Lebo, the daughter of William Chester and Lulu Mae (Speer) Evans. Five sisters, Florene Bosworth, Las Vegas, Alice Gould and Ruth Buchtel, both of Lebo, Lenora Richardson, Topeka, and Louise Freund, Dodge City; two brothers, Dan Evans, Lebo and Woodford Evans, Winter Haven, Florida. Mrs. Standiferd was buried in Arvonia Cemetery, Osage County, Ks.
