William Smith King was married twice during his life. His first marriage to Sarah Ann Jones about 1855 resulted in a number of children, several of whom survived him. His second marriage was to Lucina "Lucy" Frances Abrams of Sikes, LA [his first cousin] on February 6, 1888 in Lincoln Parish, LA. Although their union ended in divorce sometime between 1895-1900, it also produced three daughters who survived them. The children from this second marriage were born in McLennan County, TX. Lucina later married a Mr. William Sylvester Williams and the King children grew up in OK.
