Suzanne Banning, age 58, a lifelong resident of Stillwater passed away Wednesday afternoon at the Stillwater Medical Center.
Mrs. Banning was born on March 18, 1951 in Stillwater, Oklahoma and was the daughter of the late William Henry and June (Edmondson) Webb. She grew up in Stillwater and graduated from Stillwater High School. Suzanne worked as a financial assistant at the Oklahoma State University in Stillwater for twenty-five years. She enjoyed her cat, Boots, watching TV, knitting, her friends and talking on the telephone. She was a former member of the Eagles. In May of 1985 she was united in marriage to Charles J. Banning in Miami, Oklahoma and he preceded her in death in 1987.
Suzanne is survived by a daughter; a sister and two grandchildren.
Besides her husband she was preceded in death by her parents.
Her graveside services have been entrusted to the care of the Palmer Marler Funeral Home of Stillwater and were held at 2 p.m. on Monday, May 11, 2009 at the Fairlawn Cemetery in Stillwater with Reverend Jack Reeves officiating.
Those who wish may make memorials to the charity or organization of the donors choice in care of the Palmer Marler Funeral Home.
