Rosa Lee Vowell, age 85 of Clinton, went to be with her Heavenly Father October 9, 2011. She was born March 22, 1926 in Anderson County and was a member of Clinton Second Baptist Church. Rosa enjoyed quilting, especially baby quilts, and was known for her wonderful cooking including pies and cupcakes. She loved working in her church, spending time with her church family and spending time with her nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
Preceded in death by her first husband, William Burch; second husband, Carl E. Vowell; parents, William and Hattie Guy; step sons, Michael and Larry Vowell; sisters, Mildred L. Dozier, Jennie Mae Long, Mary J Williams, Alma (Billie) Duncan; sister in-law, Lona Guy.
Survivors:
Brother: James Guy
Step- daughter: Clarence and Donna Pearson
Step grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews

The family will receive friends Monday, October 10th, from 6-8PM at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton. Funeral service will follow at 8 o'clock with Rev. Mike Thompson officiating. Graveside service will be Tuesday, October 11th at 11:00 AM at Sunset Cemetery in Clinton. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. www.holleygamblefh.com
