"Mrs. Samuel Honey died at her home in this city Saturday, March 8th, of puerperal fever. A daughter had been born to her on Tuesday, March 4th. The funeral services were held at the family residence Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock and were conducted by Rev. G.M. Weimer of the Christian church. The remains were laid to rest in the Hoosier cemetery. Jessie Lang was born in Harvey county, Kansas, in 1879 and was 22 years and 11 months old when she died. She came to Kingman in 1891. She married Samuel Honey, August 29, 1897. Three children were born of this union."
