Obituary: DORIS BANKS. Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend to everyone, Doris Lillian Bronson Banks, passed away peacefully into the arms of her Heavenly Father and her family beyond the veil, October 8, 1991, after a long and eventful life. Born June 15, 1923, in Grandview, Idaho, (at the home of Jim and Annie Shaw) to Leamon Douglas and Melissa Ann Farnes Bronson. She married Bruce Albert Banks, October 12, 1950, and later solemnized that marriage in the Jordan River LDS Temple. She was an elementary school teacher.

Survived by her husband, Bruce; a son and two daughters, Gloria Jean Bennett, Barbara Ann Banks and Douglas Bruce (and Sylvia) Banks, all Salt Lake City; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother and two sisters, Viola Eckhold, Wilmer Bronson, both Salt Lake City; Fern (and Don) McDermott, Lehi. Graveside services will be Saturday, October 12, 1 p.m., in the Springfield (Idaho) Cemetery. Friends may call Friday, 7-8:30 pm, at the Holbrook Funeral Chapel, 3251 So 2300 East.
