Helen J. Jones, was a beloved wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmoth er, sister, aunt and friend. Helen was born in Parowan, Utah on November 8, 1926, and died July 13, 2006 after a heroic fight with cancer. Helen resided in Monrovia, California for 77 years and was known for the loving support and encouragement that she showed towards her family and friends. Her door was always opened and she was known for the kindness she gave to those around her. Helen served as the Monroe PTA president and was honored and recognized with a PTA Honorary Service Award. Mrs. Jones served as a Monrovia High School Band Booster President, and traveled with the band to England and Ireland in 1976. Helen is survived by her daughter Karen and son-in-law Terry Federoff; four grandchildren, Kimberly Ann, Stephanie Lynn, Kristen Marie and Steven Matthew; brothers, LeGrand (Dorthy) Reeves, and Jack Reeves; nieces and nephews Rusty Reeves, Sandy Addington, Linda (Bob) Snarr, Robbie Chrisinger, Sherry Lynn (Mike) Brown , and Debbie Bram. Helen was a blessing to all those around her and she will be great ly missed.
