Frostburg - Mrs. Margaret Estella McKenzie, 60, wife of Gory McKenzie, 68 West Main Street, died yesterday afternoon at her home. She had been a patient at Miners Hospital for several days and had been treated for an ankle injury. A native of here, she was born on August 3, 1899, and was a daughter of the late Harman and Ida (Hansel) Winner. Mrs. McKenzie was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, Royal Neighbors and Ladies of the Moose. Besides her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Joseph Green, Miami, Fla.; a step-daughter, Mrs. Helen Naughton, of here; a brother, Harry Winner, of here. Also surviving are three sisters, Miss Agnes Winner and Mrs. Clara Youngerman, both of Rockville; Mrs. Bernice Holland, Frederick, Okla.; and two grandchildren. The body is at the Durst Funeral Home where Ladies of the Moose will conduct a service today at 7:30 p.m. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow. Frostburg - A requiem mass for Mrs. Margaret E. McKenzie, 60, wife of Gory McKenzie, of 68 West Mechanic Street, who died Monday at her home, will be celebrated tomorrow at 9:30 a.m. at St. Michael's Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Anne's Cemetery at Avilton. Pallbearers will be Edgar Hansel, Harry Hansel, Evan Meese, William Otto, Raymond Winner and Ervin Hansel. The body is at the Durst Funeral Home where the rosary will be recited today at 8:15 p.m. The Cumberland Evening Times, May 4, 1960
