Surviving are three sons: Clifford A. Rhorer of Oolitic, IN, Fredrick Rhorer of Indianapolis, and Michael Rhorer of Bedford, IN; one daughter, Susan Damon of Bloomington, IN; one brother, Fred Rhorer of Bedford, IN; one sister, Rachel Myers of Bloomington, IN; eight grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three brothers: Kenneth Rhorer, Harry Rhorer and Frank Rhorer; and one sister, Ruby Bodenhamer.
He had worked as a tool and die maker at United Technologies in Mitchell, retiring in 1991, was an Army veteran of World War II, and had served as a Mitchell city commissioner. He was a member of Mitchell Fraternal Order of Police.
Services for Clifford Rhorer will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 11th, at Cresthaven Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens with military rites accorded by members of the American Legion.
