"Mrs. Maggie Jane Armstrong of Tyler, formerly of Biardstown, services Wednesday, July 3, at Fry & Gibbs with Rev. Luther Lott, pastor of the Northgate Baptist Church in Irving. She died Monday, July 1, at Glenview Nursing Home in Tyler.
Born in Fort Smith, AR., daughter of William P. & Fronie Lynn Branson. She married T. Dick Armstrong on Sept. 10, 1908. He died January 11, 1931.
She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. She had lived in Tyler since 1982.
Surviving are 2 daughters, Katherine Grooms of Tyler and Mrs. James 'Helen' Roling, of Irving; 2 sons, Roger & Richard Armstrong of Crosby; 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren."
